Oakland, California. At The Works Cooperative, Mestre Lucas Corvo hosted his first batizado in the United States. Several mestres were in attendance including Mestre Canguru, Mestre Marcelo, Mestre Urubu Malandro. Students baptized were: Mike, Brian, Yania, and Yuri. Azabumba received his estagiario belt and, in a substitute ceremony, Cafe received his yellow and green belt.
